Attic bedrooms is a cost effective, home remodeling project

Remodeling.com (www.costvsvalue.com) came out with their 2013 Cost vs Value report in January, so we wanted to give you an update. Bathroom Remodels Can Make a Huge Difference

Removing Old Shower

I visited the condo we’re remodeling and took the final photos (will post those later). The difference in the master bath is incredible. The room feels so much bigger after removing one shower wall, and replacing it with a glass shower enclosure. We also moved a window just a foot to support the larger shower base (36 versus 30 inches).

Bathroom Remodel Includes Many Design Choices

Chair Rail Option #1

It’s easy to say you want to remodel your bathroom. You want a tile floor, maybe tile walls and maybe update the shower or bathtub. Those are the big decisions, but there are many more small decisions that come together to complete any remodeling job.

Where originally the plans called for tile walls (up 4 to 5 feet), with the...

Bathroom Remodel a Success!

Bathroom from the Door

We just finished the 2nd floor guest bathroom! A picture is worth a thousand words. I’m amazed how different the first 2 photos look – same room, different lighting. To minimize reflections off the mirror, the overhead light was turned off for the photo with sink details.
