Quick Home Repairs to Make Before Guests Arrive

make home repairs before holiday guests arrive

Home repairs happen throughout the year. The most important repairs before the holidays are ones that might cause an accident when you’ve got guests visiting. Taking care of these repairs now will make your holidays go more smoothly and you’ll relax knowing your home is holiday ready.

Holiday Gifts That Make People Smile

pick holiday gifts you'll enjoy all year

Holiday gifts are meant to make people smile but are you smiling during the holiday preparations? In thick of the holiday hustle, we may forget to make time for ourselves and others who may have a greater need than our families.  We expect the holiday season to be chaotic (some of us even enjoy it) preparing seasonal treats, sending out holiday cards and getting our homes ready for guests. Groundhogs like their homes and we home you like your house too

Weather patterns are changing and it’s hard to know how to prepare our homes for every possible emergency like the tornadoes, earthquakes, flooding and heat waves we had last year.

Today is weather related, but it’s a fun reminder of the changing seasons, so relax and smile as there’s nothing (yes nothing) you need to do. It’s simply February 2nd which means it is Groundhog Day!

Hope you enjoy...

Don't forget safety when decorating or entertaining over the holidays

We love holidays and most of us try to do too much and that’s when things happen. If you don’t have enough time, pick half your decorations to put up and leave the others for next year. Happy Thanksgiving to All

Table centerpieces can use natural pumpkins & gourds for Thanksgiving

When your children are young, the fall holidays kick off with Halloween. Otherwise Thanksgiving marks the beginning of the holiday festivities when you live in the US (Canada celebrates Thanksgiving in October) and so today is a time for remembering and giving thanks.

Maybe you’ve struggled with a power outage, flooding or unemployment? We hope you’re spending today with family and friends, to remember and celebrate...
